Well it was pay day yesterday, much to say it was more painful than ever! Some people got as little as $350 for two weeks pay. These are the sacrifices we take in order to get equal base salary to Domestic Crew!
I must say I am so proud of all my zeal crew who I work with and stood at the picket line with, as some of our crew can’t even afford to eat after our pay day, everyone is pulling together and offering up whatever they can, if its cash or even a can of spaghetti they are offering it.
It is a sad day when you can’t feed yourself or your family, when trying to stand up for what you believe in, equality!
For those of you, who are the ones struggling to feed your families it’s too you I thank as we all stand together, you are the one who’s roughing it to do so…..Thank You and we all appreciate your sacrifice! So in return we are here for you! Call the union (0800 1 union) if you are in a rut and we at zeal are putting together food parcels for you, it’s the least we can do for our team mates!
